Pakistan is thrashed 4-0 by Kuwait in the SAFF Championship

The Pakistani team is almost out of the SAFF Championship after suffering a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Kuwait in the Group A match on Saturday.

The first match of the series ended in a 4-0 defeat for Pakistan against its arch-rival India last Wednesday.

The first match between Kuwait and Nepal ended in a 3-1 victory for Kuwait.

As early as the 10th minute, Hasan Al Enezi gave Kuwait a lead, which was doubled by Mubarak Al Faneni in the 17th minute.

The match was 3-0 in Kuwait’s favor at halftime. In the second half, Eid Al Rashedi scored the fourth goal for his team.

SAFF Championship 14 features host India, Lebanon, Kuwait, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh, and Pakistan competing for the title.

Guests from the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) are Lebanon and Kuwait.

Lebanon, Bangladesh, Maldives and Bhutan are placed in Group B, while Pakistan, India, Kuwait and Nepal are placed in Group A.

A semifinal match will take place on July 1 between the top two teams from each group. It is scheduled for July 2 to play the mega-final.
