Gold Prices Hike by Rs 8500 Per Tola In Pakistan

A strong upward trend in the price of gold was observed for the second consecutive day on Friday in the domestic market, as the Pakistani rupee lost ground against the dollar against the backdrop of a weaker Pakistani rupee.

 

According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association’s (APSGJA) data for July 2018, the price of per tola gold increased by Rs8,000 to settle at Rs 216,000 and the price for 10 grams of 24 carat gold showed an increase of Rs 6.848 to settle at Rs185,185, respectively.

According to the latest international market prices, the price of gold per ounce remained unchanged at $1,959 on the international market.

There was no change in the price of the tola of silver and the price of a gram of silver, which remained at Rs2480 and Rs2,126.20 respectively.
